Somehow, when I chance upon these set of pictures you've taken Sid of women under umbrellas, coicidentally I was listening right in time to Rihanna's music entitled "Umbrella". While listening, I could envision each lady in the picture saying the lyrics.
Again, cool pictures here. Seems they're using... Japanese type of umbrellas?
what a wonderful series of stories and images..... the colors blow me away. Thanks for all your efforts to show us a side of the Phillipines we never hear about:)
I love the top couple, they are in sync with their step, the red frill on the umbrella matches her bracelet and then the shawdows are joined by the umbrella; the woman seems to be handling with ease her purse, the dish and the umbrella, the guy (seemingly) has all he can handle just with the dish; I bet this would be a terrific b&w as well, outstanding work
Love the really nice colours the ladies are wearing. So very elegant.
